Welcome to Kuoraf. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kuoraf website, job board, career support services, HR services, and related services. By accessing or using Kuoraf, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Kuoraf.
1. About Kuoraf
Kuoraf is a job board and services platform designed to connect job seekers, employers, and organizations and to provide career and human resources support services. Kuoraf may provide services including job postings, employer and job seeker connections, resume support, interview preparation, career support, HR consulting, and other related services. Kuoraf is not an employer, recruitment agency, or employment placement agency unless expressly stated otherwise in connection with a particular service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate and current information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You agree to notify Kuoraf if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization. You may not impersonate another person or organization or create an account using false or misleading information.
3. Job Seekers
Job seekers are responsible for ensuring that information provided through Kuoraf, including resumes, profiles, qualifications, employment history, and application information, is accurate and not misleading. Kuoraf does not guarantee that using the Kuoraf jobb board or any career support service will result in employment, an interview, an offer, or any particular employment outcome. Job seekers are responsible for evaluating employers, job opportunities, employment terms, and any communications received through or as a result of using Kuoraf.
4. Employers and Job Postings
Employers and organizations are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job postings and other information they provide through Kuoraf. Job postings must describe legitimate employment opportunities and must comply with applicable employment, human rights, privacy, and other laws. Employers must not post false, misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent, unlawful, or deceptive opportunities. Kuoraf may review, edit, refuse, suspend, or remove a posting that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the purpose and standards of the Kuoraf job board. Kuoraf does not guarantee the number, suitability, qualifications, or availability of applicants responding to a job posting.
5. Career and HR Services
Kuoraf may offer paid or unpaid career support and HR services, including resume assistance, interview preparation, career support, HR consulting, and other workplace-related services. Information and guidance provided through these services is general or advisory in nature unless otherwise agreed in writing. Kuoraf does not guarantee employment, hiring, employee performance, business results, or any particular outcome from these services. HR services do not constitute legal, accounting, tax, or other regulated professional advice. Where appropriate, users and employers should obtain advice from a qualified professional.
6. Fees and Payments
Certain Kuoraf services may require payment, including job postings, career support services, HR services, or other products and services offered through the Kuoraf. Prices and applicable taxes will be displayed or communicated before purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. By making a payment, you agree to provide accurate payment and billing information and to comply with any applicable terms of the payment provider. Kuoraf does not store complete payment card information where payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Any cancellation or refund terms applicable to a particular service may be displayed at the time of purchase or communicated before the service is provided. Unless otherwise stated, fees for services that have already been performed or substantially commenced may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or other rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Kuoraf to:
- engage in unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity;
- post false or misleading information;
- discriminate unlawfully in connection with employment or services;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate another person;
- distribute spam, malware, malicious code, or other harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to Kuoraf, another user’s account, or related systems;
- collect or use personal information for purposes unrelated to legitimate employment or Kuoraf services; or
- interfere with the security or operation of Kuoraf.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of resumes, job postings, profile information, documents, and other content you provide to Kuoraf. You grant Kuoraf permission to host, store, process, display, and share that content as reasonably necessary to operate Kuoraf and provide the services you request. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide any content you submit and that the content does not violate the rights of another person or organization.
10. Employment Relationships
Kuoraf provides tools and services that help users connect. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Kuoraf is not a party to any employment relationship, employment agreement, or other arrangement entered into between a job seeker and an employer. Employers are responsible for their hiring decisions, employment practices, employment agreements, compensation, workplace conditions, and compliance with applicable laws. Job seekers and employers are responsible for conducting their own appropriate due diligence before entering into an employment or business relationship.
11. Third-Party Services
Kuoraf may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, hosting providers, communications tools, analytics services, or other technology providers. Kuoraf is not responsible for the availability, content, policies, security, or practices of third-party websites or services that are outside our control.
12. Intellectual Property
The Kuoraf name, branding, logo, website design, and original Kuoraf content are owned by or licensed to Kuoraf and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without permission except as permitted by law.
13. Service Availability
We work to provide a reliable platform, but we do not guarantee that Kuoraf will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or introduce features and services from time to time.
14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Kuoraf is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Kuoraf does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by users, employers, job seekers, or other third parties. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kuoraf will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of the marketplace or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Suspension and Termination
Kuoraf may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the platform or services where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights or safety of others. You may stop using Kuoraf at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
16. Privacy
Your use of Kuoraf is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Kuoraf, our services, our practices, or applicable legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the use of Kuoraf will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
